Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for modifying or canceling your Spectaculi tour booking.

1. How to Cancel or Modify

For your convenience, a dedicated cancellation link is included in the confirmation email you received at the time of booking. All cancellations or modification requests must be submitted to Spectaculi in writing, ideally via email to our designated contact address. You may submit cancellation requests up until the scheduled start date and time of your tour. The date and time we receive your written request will determine the applicable refund or penalty.

2. Participant Cancellation Refunds

All cancellation calculations and deadlines are based on Madrid time (CEST/CET). Please note that all refunds are subject to any fees imposed by the online charging company. Additionally, funds paid specifically for the booking process are non-refundable and detailed on the designated cancellation page. The following refund structure applies to cancellations made by participants, correlated to the duration of your booked trip:

Full Refund

More than three times the trip's specified duration before the tour start time: You'll receive a full refund of your payment, minus any non-refundable third-party costs (e.g., pre-booked tickets for specific attractions if applicable and stated in the tour description).

Partial Refund

More than two times the trip's specified duration before the tour start time: You'll receive a 50% refund of your payment.

No Refund

Within an equivalent to the trip's specified duration amount of time before the tour start time: No refund will be issued.

Note

For tours that require specific non-refundable deposits or payments to external suppliers (such as long-term accommodation bookings or specialized permits), these costs may be deducted from your refund, irrespective of the cancellation notice period. Any such non-refundable costs will be clearly stated in the description of the specific tour.

3. Spectaculi's Right to Cancel

Spectaculi reserves the right to cancel a tour under certain circumstances: Insufficient Participants: If a tour doesn't meet the minimum required number of participants (if applicable and stated), we may cancel it. Unforeseen Circumstances / Force Majeure: We may cancel a tour due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or other circumstances that make the tour unsafe or impossible to operate (fuerza mayor - force majeure).

If Spectaculi cancels a tour, you'll be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to an alternative available tour of equivalent value. We aren't responsible for any additional costs you may incur, such as non-refundable flights or other travel arrangements, due to our cancellation.

4. No-Shows

If you fail to show up for a tour at the designated meeting point and time without prior notification, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

5. Free Tours

Even for complimentary or free tours, we kindly request you notify us of any cancellations as a courtesy, allowing us to manage group sizes and resources effectively.

6. Transferring Your Booking

In some cases, you may be able to transfer your booking to another person. This request must be made in writing and is subject to our approval and any additional administrative fees.
